Fanfusion Party 2015
Fanfusion Party 2015 - Retrogunya was a big success for Stylz FM and it's sponsors. Patrons turned out from St. Thomas to Montego Bay and foreigners from USA and Canada. Bay View Eco Resort and Spa was booked to capacity with fans of Stylz FM. The atmosphere was a full frenzy with fans of Stylz FM mingling, eating, drinking, singing and dancing to music from Stylz FM DJs and Video Jock Digital Wiz.
The success was mainly from seeing the listeners of Stylz FM to finally meeting and greeting each other, taking photos together and enjoying themselves to the fullest at the beautiful Oyster Bay property owned by Bay View Eco Resort & Spa. Photographers and videographers from HYPE TV, St. Thomas Events, Rawtid TV and So Flyh Photography got the fans even closer and captured the moments.
The event started at 5:00 pm with Louie Lecky presenting his vault of foundation hits, and this continued with Chungy delivering a solid vibe that held the early arrivers at bay. Prestige took the party up a notch which started the dancing frenzy, then it was King Mitchell with his short but spicy delivery of dancehall hits after hits, which ended due to technical difficulties. Rescued by Crown Prince, the party continued with the up tempo pace set by King Mitchell. Then 'the teacher' entered the class, Colin Anthony exposed why he is not the student as he had the audience obediently moving to the message of the music. It was Digital Wiz our guest VJ who awed the crowed with his music video juggling which had the young at heart and young in spirit patterning the video dance moves. Digital T's spontaneous juggling style elated the crowed with hits across genres, then the 'big man' DJ Mookie without hesitation erupted the crowd into a reveling frenzy by engaging the patrons throughout his set. Captian Baker then cruised the ship around the bay with a serving of love songs that had the ladies singing and fellows making requests. Then someone said "stain dem up", DJ Stain took the patrons down memory lane of dancehall dancing moves that many didn't think they remembered how to do them, but they did. Closing the night was Digital T once again who gave the audience a crossover of retro and moderns music.
The party officially ended at 5:30 A.M. Sunday morning, but the late comers wanted more and pulled up a bus with a sound system and held the bartenders hostage.
It was a good look for the patrons, the sponsors and Stylz FM. Special thanks to Goblin Hill Villas, Bay View Eco Resort & Spa, HYPE TV, St. Thomas Events, Rawtid TV, So Flyh Photography, Rudelikedat Entertainment, Native Audio, St. Thomas Signs and VJ Printing Services.
See you July 9, 2016!!!
